The Best Club That’s Not In Your Golf Bag

Instead of me yammering on and on about how my fitness training will get you to drive further and improve your putt, I’ll go one better - I’ll tell you how not to be sore after golfing while getting better drives and putts.

Club and Mace training is the slow comer to golf fitness although it makes the most sense. Golf is all about rotation, so are maces and clubs. Here is where the good stuff starts. 

A golfer goes out for 18 holes and takes about 72 swings and at least 18 putts - that’s 90 swings in one direction. This is why your shoulder, or back, or hip, or knees, or all of them hurt. 
Club and Mace training works both sides of your body equally rotational, meaning you are unwinding that one sided movement and balancing out your body.
Other benefits are weight loss, muscle gain, bi-lateral coordination, enhanced balance, stamina, endurance, you get the idea.
