The Truth About Creating “Free” Workout Content

The Truth About Creating “Free” Workout Content

We aim to create the best content possible for our customers. We live by the motto, "I do all my own stunts", so our videos are often shot with an iPhone and low budget microphones, but we make it happen.

Because we’re deeply rooted in the club and mace community, and have spent years working with these strength and skill tools, we’ve decided to offer free video instructionals and workouts for everyone to enjoy. Truthfully, we don’t care what club you use, as long as you’re watching, learning, and getting value from the content.

Why am I making this blog post? Because it’s hard.

Creating a program that builds from one workout to the next, and ultimately leads to success, is not easy. Add to that the fact that we can’t provide real time coaching cues, and for much of it, you’re on your own with a mirror or video… well, you can see the challenge. That’s why we need feedback.

Building progressions, creating a level playing field, and appropriately challenging people this is what we are working toward. As we develop our latest offering for our YouTube channel, I want to emphasize that we don’t just throw together random movement patterns, add weight, and hope for the best.

We want you to progress. We want you to become more skillful with steel clubs and maces. We want more people to see these movements and become educated. And if it works out, if you see the value in this kind of training, maybe someone new will pick up a steel club or mace. Maybe that someone is you. Maybe… an ADEX Club.”
